The Depot Restaurant Renovation

The renovation of The Depot brings consistency and unity to the structure by synchronizing architectural elements such as roofing, opening sizes, and floor elevations between phases of the building’s history. The change of use and current codes required an increase in the plumbing fixtures and an increased floor area for the restroom. To accommodate the enlarged restrooms, a small addition in keeping with the historic language of the façade was incorporated into the project. Ultimately, the building was restored to a prominent destination for both visitors and citizens of Auburn.
